Nebo Adult Education Registration Requirements:

• Registration Forms

• $50 Program Fee annually 

• Proof of address

• Any type of Photo ID can be; Passport, Drivers license, Identification card, etc.

• Completion of CASAS (Placement Exam)

• Orientation Class

This program is for adults who do not have a secondary school diploma demonstrating a functioning level of at least 9th grade in at least one of the following areas: Reading, Writing, or Math.

Adult education completion programs provide academic instruction in Board-approved courses leading to an Adult Education Secondary Diploma. With verification, the following may be used toward completion of graduation requirements:

• Previously earned high school credit

• Work experience

• Professional licenses or certification of skill training

• Military Experience

• College or university credits

Nebo Adult Education offers individualized tutoring to prepare for the GED test. The GED measures the major and lasting outcomes and concepts associated with a traditional four-year high school education. The test consists of questions in four subject areas:

• Social Studies

• Language Arts

• Science

• Mathematics

GED tests are proctored at UVU.  Each section is taken separately and has a fee of $36.00 per test for a total of $144.00
